6 Killer FNAF2 Activations

The 2023 video game turned film phenomenon is back for another installment with Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (FNAF2). This time the hit film is ONLY in cinemas on December 5th—and we can’t wait for new frights, jumps, and some of that FNAF pizza! Check out these 6 FNAF2 activations fans will die for!

1. Social Media Content 📲

The FNAF franchise is based on the hit video game series of the same name and concept. Engage all of the FNAF gamers with social media posts to build hype for the upcoming film:

• Via Threads/X, ask followers to respond with their favorite video game to film adaptations. Repost your favorites.

• Using the poll function via IG/FB Stories, ask followers if they think they would survive one night at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza!

• Create a sneak peek post with your FNAF2 concessions, decorations, and merch.

2. FNAF2 Pizza Boxes 🍕

FNAF pizza boxes are back! Promote your cinema’s pizza with exclusive FNAF2 boxes available for a limited time. FNAF branded pizza boxes sold out quickly the first time around. Fans will be just as excited for them for the second film.

3. Five Nights Til Freddy’s 5️⃣

Create a short form video series for TikTok/Reels in the days leading up to the FNAF2 premiere with “man on the street” style videos interviewing staff + moviegoers about what they loved about the first film and what they can’t wait to see in the second. Start with Five Nights Til Freddy's then Four Nights Til Freddy's so on and so forth. Don’t forget to have release forms ready, so patrons can consent to your cinema posting their interview!

4. FNAF2 Gameplay 🎮

Host a giveaway for a lucky moviegoer to win a private auditorium for their own FNAF game play to stream on the big screen! Ask followers to like the post, tag their gamer friends in the comments, and share to their story for an extra entry to win a VIP FNAF2 gameplay package at your cinema. Create the VIP gameplay package with a free auditorium rental, free popcorn, and FNAF2 pizza + soda for the winner and 5 friends! True fans will enter in a heartbeat!

5. Fan Art 🖼️

Ask FNAF2 fans to bring in their fan art to your cinema. Create a gallery wall in your lobby showcasing art by each fan. Create small plaques (just like the museums!) with the artist's name and the piece's name. Put jars in front of each piece of art. Ask moviegoers to vote for their favorite. Winner gets FNAF2 + your cinema merch. Donate the money from the jars to a local kids organization.

6. Cheese Pull 🧀

Create a TikTok/Reel of your cinema's pizza in the FNAF2 pizza boxes. Ask one of your employees to cut the pizza and pull out a slice. Be sure to zoom in, slow-mo, and/or highlight the yummy cheese pull created. This type of mouth watering content will easily get a lot of views.
