It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superman! The Man of Steel is back with his new canine sidekick, Krypto! Check out Superman, Lois Lane, Krypto, and some new friends as they take on Lex Luther and some new baddies to save the world on July 8th. These 5 Superman activations are perfect for all the Supermans, Lois Lanes, and Clark Kents at your cinema!
1. Lookalike Contest
Host your own Superman look-a-like contest during opening weekend. Encourage moviegoers to come dressed as Clark Kent or Superman! The winner can be chosen by your staff! Promote on socials and your weekly emailers. Entice moviegoers to enter the contest for a chance to win free movie tix, popcorn vouchers, and premium Superman concessions.
2. There Can Only Be One
Using the poll function on your IG/FB Stories, ask followers who their favorite Superman is? (Ie. Henry Cavill, Christopher Reeve, Tom Welling - Smallville, Channing Tatum - The Lego Movie, Brandon Routh, etc.) Announce the winner when voting is over!
3. Man of Steel
Hire a superman impersonator to walk around your cinema lobby and interact with guests. These types of in-house activations create buzz and enhance the moviegoing experience. Post videos of Superman interacting with your guests to socials. Your followers will get FOMO and will buy tix!
4. Superman's Best Friend
Krypto is Superman’s new sidekick! Encourage followers to post a picture of their pets with DC superhero gear and tag the theater/movie. Announce the winner receives a special superman themed dog treat or toy in honor of Krypto’s big screen debut!
